• The Volkswagen Bus

The Volkswagen bus is an icon across the globe known for utility.  The bus has been made in five generations since 1950.  However, in 2013 the production ended and the bus was only seen as concept cars over the years.  However the VW van has been released again and will go on the market in the US soon.  The VW bus was an exciting car in an otherwise boring VW car lineup.  This was with few exceptions such as the Beetle, Golf GTI and Jetta GLI.  Brands such as Toyota and Nissan have been in the news for the revival and next generation of sports cars.  Volkswagen, as a brand, needed an exciting car as well.  This brought the VW bus out of retirement.  The bus will be all electric and named the I.D Buzz.  The Buzz will go live in Europe before America.  However, it will likely compete in an American market.  There is no real competition for EV vans in the US.  The largest electric automobile comparable to the bus is the Rivian RT2.  The Rivian is in a different price range than the bus and does not have the same nostalgia as the bus.  Volkswagen will likely succeed in this market.
